At MetroFeeder Technologies Pvt Ltd, we strive to ensure a seamless ride experience. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are issued and how they are processed.
Refund Duration: Within 24 hours
Refund Mode: Credit to MetroFeeder in-app wallet
1. Eligible Refund Scenarios
You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:
- Driver no-show: If the assigned driver does not arrive at the pickup point within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and the ride is cancelled
- Double charge: If you are charged twice for the same ride due to a technical error
- Ride not completed: If the driver ends the ride prematurely without reaching the destination
- Incorrect fare: If the fare charged is significantly higher than the estimated fare without valid reasons (e.g., route deviation, traffic surge)
- Payment failure with deduction: If the amount is deducted from your payment method but the booking was not confirmed
2. Refund Process
- Open the MetroFeeder app and go to your ride history
- Select the ride for which you wish to request a refund
- Tap "Report an Issue" and select the appropriate reason
- Our support team will review your request and respond within 24 hours
- Approved refunds will be credited to your MetroFeeder wallet within 24 hours of approval
3. Refund Mode
All refunds are processed as credits to your MetroFeeder in-app wallet. Wallet credits can be used for future rides on the platform. Refunds to the original payment method (bank account, UPI) are available on request for amounts exceeding Rs. 500 and may take 5-7 business days to process.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Rides completed successfully as per the booking
- Cancellations made after the free cancellation window (see Cancellation Policy)
- Surge pricing applied during high-demand periods
- Toll charges, parking fees, or other pass-through costs
5. Wallet Top-Up Refunds
Wallet top-up amounts are non-refundable and non-transferable. They can only be used for rides and services within the MetroFeeder platform.
